At P3, we know you want to get back to doing what you enjoy. However, you want to do it safely. That’s why we conduct an in-depth assessment that consists of either a (1) physical therapy evaluation; (2) CrossFit mobility assessment; or (3) telehealth evaluation to aid in making an accurate diagnosis. As part of your overall evaluation, we employ a differential diagnosis process. This pinpoints how the pain you are experiencing manifests in your specific situation. This allows us to provide you with an individualized treatment plan. Additionally, it lets you get back to life quicker and safer.

We also understand that your body has healing properties. When people come into our office with neck or shoulder pain, or maybe a CrossFit injury, we use our varied treatment methods to complement the body’s natural healing abilities. In treating our patients, we frequently combine a variety of methods to make treatment more successful.

  • Corrective Exercise– Corrective exercise is performed in our office and at home for pain management. The exercises aim to strengthen the weakened areas in your muscles and joints that are contributing to your pain. Corrective exercise helps to increase range of motion and reduces joint stiffness. When used with other methods, some of the conditions it is effective for are headaches, back pain, tennis elbow, and sciatica.
  • Joint Manipulation– This technique allows a therapist to use specific movements to alleviate pain caused by stiff, painful joints. This therapy helps to improve range of motion and relieve pain. Combining joint manipulation with other approaches is useful. It addresses issues like pain associated with hip impingement, slipped ribs, and plantar fasciitis.
  • Cupping Therapy– Cupping is a treatment that is popular with athletes because it is beneficial for a variety of sports injuries. The procedure involves attaching inverted cups to specific areas of the body. The vacuum effect produced by the cups increases blood flow and decreases pain and muscle tension. As with other methods, optimal results with cupping are achieved in combination with other approaches. Specifically, cupping therapy assists the body in healing frozen shoulder, back pain, knee pain, and neck pain.
  • Dry Needling– This approach uses thin needles to target knots in the muscles that may be causing pain or other symptoms in the body. By addressing myofascial (muscle) pain, dry needling can, along with other methods, increase joint mobility, and muscle flexibility. Muscle knots causing jaw pain, disc herniations, or rotator cuff pain can benefit from this technique.

I've been dealing with what I have called a "Ghost shoulder" since having surgey in 2018. I recently moved from Colorado to Ohio and saw 3 different physical therapists and 1 personal trainer over the last 5/6 years to correct but never had success. Then I found Peak Physiotherapy and Dr Andrew. I was shook during my intake appointment, Drew quickly found the issue (pinched nerve in my back) and developed a plan of correction. Pricing was extremely reasonable and even offering several different financing options, if needed. During my session, Drew LISTENED to me and my symptoms. He pushed me, he corrected my form, recorded my exercises for easy refreshing at home of "what do i do again?" everything to literally set me up for success in my recovery. Hes personable, gets to know you just setting the standard so high for medical professionals - All of this, he listens, cares and loves what he does. 13/10 would recommend over and over again. WHEN, I inevitably injure myself again, I already know exactly whom I will call.

I came to Dr. Drew desperate for real results. Prior to my injury I was a triathlete and an avid hiker. Due to circumstances out of my control, I was on crutches and completely immobilized for 4 months after an ankle injury. By the time I started seeking out PT, my ankle was STIFF and extremely sore all the time after walking around. I had even developed a hip issue that was causing me extreme discomfort. I saw 2 other PT's prior to Dr. Drew. They were often distracted by other clients whenever I was being treated. They dismissed my concerns about the pain I was feeling and their treatment plan was a standard plan they followed for every ankle injury. I was not surprised when I wasn't seeing any results. Then I found Dr. Drew! He was everything I was hoping for. He's just incredibly passionate about what he does and it shows. All of his sessions are 1-on-1 and he really listens to you. He evaluates your whole body and not just the point of injury. He diagnosed an issue with my back that was leading to my hip pain and then he fixed it in 2 sessions. Every week I came to see him for my ankle he had new exercises for us to try and clear goals for us to reach. He gave me easy and effective exercises to do at home. I saw progress instantly and each weak that progress grew and grew. He answered every question I had and I learned quite a lot from him about how to prevent myself from future injury. I'm pain free and back to all my normal activities and it's all because of Dr. Drew. I owe him big time!

I am a middle aged woman who wanted to get in shape and lose weight. I started CrossFit training. I was limited to what I could do partly because of all the pain I have experienced for years with my back, knees, and hips. Two separate trainers told me to go see Dr Andrew. I was skeptical because I have been to see many different doctors, physical therapists, etc but I made the appointment. I'm so thankful and glad I did. Dr Drew is amazing!! I've never had anyone actually help me. I honestly didn't think it could be done because of all the years I had suffered with the pain. I couldn't walk up and down stairs without being in pain! I had to wear knee braces every day. Now, I have no more pain!! NO MORE PAIN! And, bonus, he's super nice, very thorough, knows what he's doing (amazing!). I highly recommend Dr Drew if you are serious about feeling better.

Andrew rehabbed me through several different injuries and has never made me stop training. He gets you feeling better and gives to the tools to continue to improve at home without having to continually see him. He has so much knowledge to share and gets me results every time

Dealing with pain and an injury that gets in your way is no fun. At times it can seem like you will never regain your former level of performance. And you may be frustrated because drugs or surgery are the only solutions you have been offered.
